Put the fabric the wax has spilled on onto an ironing board. Put a paper towel over the wax and then iron over it. The iron melts the wax again and the paper towel absorbs it right up! Works like a charm!
On our hard wood, put the paper towel on the wax again and use a hair dryer to heat the wax. Again the paper towel soaks it right up and leaves no mark! So simple!!
For carpeting I would use an iron again. A friend spilt wax down her wall when she was taking out her plug-in. She used a paper towel and hair dryer too and was really impressed with how easily it cleaned up. If the candle wax that left the stain was colored, pour a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth and softly dab the spot.
Have you heard of a different technique? I would love to hear about any other ways people have cleaned up their spilt wax. Let me know if this works for you!
